The Challenges

Medica's platform suffered from fragmented user experiences across features and accessibility barriers for users with disabilities or lower digital literacy. Our Solution

We implemented a user-centered strategy prioritizing accessibility and scalable architecture. We conducted user research with patients and providers. We created a unified design system for consistent UI across roles. Navigation focused on tasks, not features. We addressed accessibility with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, including contrast, screen reader optimization, keyboard navigation, and simplified language. The visual design was calming and approachable.
